Online Coaching

WHAT IS ONLINE COACHING?

Our online coaching is like distance learning, but with exercise based rehab. It‘s a course that takes you the full journey through your injury rehab. It involves progressive programming through our online portal, together with constant communication and support as required. So you know exactly what to do and when, guided by detailed videos from our exercise library, whether training at home or in your local gym.

WHY ONLINE COACHING FOR REHAB?

Not all injuries require a hands on approach, and in many situations all an injury needs is the right exercise prescription and careful subsequent progression of that prescription to gradually re-build resilience of the tissues/structures in question. In these situations it’s usually best for the patient to take ownership for their journey by embarking on an online coaching programme, rather than seeing a rehab professional in person and putting the responsibility on them, it’s a completely different mentality.

OUR SPECIALIST AREAS

Pre-Op Preparation – It’s vital to get as strong as you can before an operation, it will have a big impact on how fast you recover on the other side of the operating table.

– Post-Operative Rehab (knees / hips / shoulders etc) – So often after surgery patients are just given a basic sheet of exercises after an operation, the effect of which will diminish after two weeks as things need progressing and evolving. The goal is always to get patients back to the activities they love as soon and as safely as possible, stronger than they were before their injury.

– Running Injuries (achilles / plantar heel pain / runners knee / hamstring tendinopathy etc) – With load management and the right exercise prescription we will always aim to keep you running whenever possible. Most runners neglect key areas of training such as top end strength, power and plyometrics, no rehab journey is complete without these.

David has an innate feel for human biomechanics. My own personal experience is that he has helped me when others could not- and I have heard first-hand report from very many more of similar success, over at least 12 years.
