PRE & POST-OP KNEE REHAB

PRE-OP PREPARATION

Whether having a meniscus repair or a full knee replacement, it’s vital to get as strong as you can before an operation, it will have a big impact on how fast you recover on the other side of the operating table.

POST-OPERATIVE REHAB

So often following knee surgery patients are just given a basic sheet of exercises, the effect of which will diminish after two weeks as things need progressing and evolving.
It’s imperative to work hard on your rehab for at least 6 months post-op, it will pay huge dividends down the line.
The goal is always to get patients back to the activities they love as soon and as safely as possible, stronger than they were before their injury.
It’s also important to consider the rest of the body, and how you can continue to effectively train this in spite of your incapacitated knee.

THE PROGRAMME

This is an online programme, as results are incomparably better. We can if needs be, however, offer intermittent in person sessions, but most often this isn’t necessary. Please see the online coaching page for details.
